Macula Risk

This pharmacogenetic DNA test is done by collecting inner cheek cells which are then tested and analyzed by an independent laboratory. This service is designed to determine a patient’s risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) converting from the dry form (most often the less severe form) to wet form (the most severe form) of macular degeneration. This test also allows the doctor to formulate the most appropriate eye supplement formulas for each individual.
